How Icarus Started
Before Icarus, we cut our teeth in affiliate marketing—the black hat side. We learned how platforms really work, not from policy documents, but from years of testing what actually gets approved and what drives conversions.
Then the CBD boom hit in the early 2010s. Suddenly, legitimate brands with real products and real customers couldn't advertise. They were getting rejected, banned, and shut down—while we watched from the sidelines knowing exactly how to solve their problem.
We founded Icarus in 2016 with a simple premise: use our experience navigating platform restrictions to help brands that mainstream agencies wouldn't touch.
